Pinch of Baking Soda

Soak Urad Dal 3- 4 Hours

Soak Idli Rava for 2 -3 Hours

 
Appy soaked urad dal for grinding in mixie
  


Paste of urad dal after grinding


 
Take out Idli Rava after soaking



Mix up Idli Rava with Urad dal paste



Add Salt


Add pinch of Baking soda

Stir the mixture well and keep to it for a night

Peel off the carrot make in to pieces


Place the mixture in Idli Plate
  


Add carrot pieces to it


Keep it on Steam


Idlis are ready to serve

Preparation;


Soak urad dal / Black gram for 4 -5 hours in water. Soak Idli Rava for 2 – 3 hours in water. Well soaked urad dal to be applied for grinding in mixie until it becomes paste. Now take the Idli Rava out from water and mix it with Urad dal paste. Stir it well until both are mixed up well. Now add 2 table spoons of Salt and a pinch of baking Soda in it. Keep the mixture for a fortnight to get the soft Idlis come out.In the morning Take 4 carrots wash it well, Peel and grate it. Now take Idli mixture pour it in Idli plates .Add small pieces of grated Carrot to each Idli.Pour some water in Idli cooker bowl and keep the Idli Plates in it. Close the cover of Idli cooker. Keep it on for a steam for 10 -15mts on Media flames until the whistle comes.Now keep the idli cooker down, take the idli plates out. With the help of a spoon take out idlis from plates.Now Idlis are ready to eat.

Ingredients for Idli Chutney

Take pea nuts in fry pan and roast them

Take oil in Fry Pan

Place Green Chillies in fry pan fry them



Add Powder of  Roasted Channa dal,Raosted Peanuts,Fried green chillies and curry leaves also add garlic and ginger paste.Add small quantity of water in the mixie.Apply for grinding.Now semi solid blend of chutney is ready.


Place Mustard seeds in Fry pan

Preparation;


Take roasted Channa Dal in to a mixie and make it Powder. Peanuts should be roasted without oil.Take a fry pan and pour small quantity of oil in it.Take few Green chillies and Coriander leaves in to the fry pan and apply for a fry.Now take roasted Pea nuts, fried green chilles, Coriander leaves, Ginger garlic paste in to the mixie and add some water in it ,mix up with Channa dal.Apply for grinding in mixie.Semi solid mixture is now ready. Add salt in it. Stir it well. Take fry pan pour 2 Table Spoon of oil in it.Add Cumin and Mustard seeds and red chillies and curry leaves to the boiled oil in fry pan. Apply for a fry with light flame. Take this blend and add the same in already prepared semi solid mixture of chutney. Mix up well. Chutney is ready to serve with Idlis.

Preparation;

Wash Lady’s Finger with water and clean it with dry cotton cloth.Cut them in to small pieces.Take a fry pan and pour enough cooking oil for deep fry. boil it on medium flame .Take lady’s finger pieces in hot cooking oil.Stir it well.Take the pieces out after deep fry when the colour changes lightly.Now take peanuts and deep fry them as well.Take fried lady’s finger pieces,Peanuts in to a bowl, spray the coriander powder,Dry coconut powder and Cumin Seeds powder evenly.Mix them up thoroughly.Now the fried ladys finger is ready to serve.

Preparation;


Take the wheat flour in a bowl.Add Milk,water,Salt to it.Mix the blend thoroughly.Now make them thin and round shaped Wet roti layers.Take a pan and keep it on the stove.Heat it for 2-3minutes.Now place the wet roti on it and heat it with light flame.Take the roti out and place on light flame to roast it.Roti bulges now to the maximum extent.Now Phulka is ready to serve.
